Since Mitt lost the 2012 election and since Bill’s ratings have been dropping, I have noticed a certain bitterness in his comments on the O’Reilly Factor.

Bitter, bitter, bitter
Bitter, Bill, bitter
Bill, bitter, bitter
Bitter bitter, Bill
Bitter, bitter, bitter
Bitter, Bill O’Reilly
Bitter, bitter, Bill
Bill, bitter, bitter
Bitter, bitter, bitter
Bitter, Bill, bitter
Bitter, Bill O’Reilly
Bitter
Bill O’Reilly
Bill
Bitter
Bitter!

Of course, that is just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Socialist!!

Mitt’s losing or already lost, and Bill O’Reilly has some advice for him. Label Barack Obama a socialist. As if name calling is the best GOP strategy left. How pathetic have our politics and our politicians have become.

Uninformed voters

Bill O’Reilly bemoans the fact that millions of voters are uninformed about this election and may vote anyway. I think that it is the duty of citizens to cast only informed votes. That is why I do not vote in races where I lack knowledge, such as contests for school board, judgeships, and propositions that are purely technical in nature. Some on the Right would deny the vote to citizens who the Right deems unqualified, such as the young, the poor, and minorities. A study showed that viewers of FOX News knew less about politics than people who watched no political news at all. That means that viewers of Bill O’Reilly’s show and other FOX News broadcasts should not be allowed to vote.

Criticisms

Barack and Mitt
Advice from Bill O’Reilly is that Barack should move to the right to occupy the political center, represented above by the red/black ball. Bill has his directions wrong. To occupy the political center, Barack must move to the left, not the right. Mitt is so far to the right that if Barack were to compromise and move to the midpoint between them, he would be moving further to the right.

Another observation from Bill O’Reilly is that Barack lacked experience when he declared his candidacy for the presidency. In February 2007, when he declared, Barack had been a US Senator for only two years. However, both George W. Bush and Mitt Romney lacked/lack national experience before being elected. George W. Bush required training wheels in the person of Dick Cheney. If he were elected, what would Mitt need?

On TV political talk shows these days, there is much heat and not enough light. I suggest that these four hosts appear regularly on each other’s programs, individually on a round-robin basis: Jon Stewart of the Daily Show, Rachel Maddow, Fareed Zakaria and Bill O’Reilly. The goal would not be to score points or to defeat the opponent, but to select a subject for discussion and enlighten each other and the audience. This could be of great national service and interest in a year where negative commercials will overwhelm the airways.
