Crisis on the border

Crisis on the border is how the media labels the events on our southern border–mislabels them I should say. There is no crisis there except by our own making. The Mexican nationals trying to cross into the US are coming here, mostly, to earn a living. If they could not find employment, they would not come. How many of us at the supermarket check to see that our chicken purchases or other purchases are processed by US citizens? No one that I know of checks to see the papers of our gardeners, house painters or other service providers. If you want to see who drives the flow of illegals across our southern border, just look in the mirror.

The asylum seekers from Central America are a different story. They are fleeing violence in their home countries, violence that ultimately was set in motion by US actions years ago.

Trump must go
