Direct election of US Senators part 2

Governor Rick Scott of Florida may be a candidate for the US Senate in 2018. If it were up to the Florida legislature, he would probably be elected. Since the citizens of Florida have a say, he may or may not be elected. I consider Rick Scott the poster boy for why we need to retain the direct election of Senators. Before the 17th amendment passed in 1913, Senators were elected by mostly corrupt state legislatures. That is the system that the GOP are clamoring to return to.

Trump must go.
