The view from Pyongyang

Empathy is generally a good thing. Please take a moment and put yourself in the shoes of a North Korean. Japan invaded North Korea in 1910 and the US has threatened Korea since the end of WW2, at the end of which the country was divided between Russia and the US. Koreans, north and south, desire the peaceful reunification of the country, much as East and West Germany desired their reunification after WW2. North Korea views the US and Japan as threats to their country’s very existence. North Koreans want to live peacefully in their own country after reunification with their kin in South Korea. If the US and Japan will give iron-clad guarantees to allow Koreans to solve their own problems, I believe that Korea will cease to pose a threat to the rest of the world. Time to give peace a chance and give up the threat of force, which has not worked.

Trump must go.
