Goodbye Gordon Gekko, How To Find Your Fortune without Losing Your Soul by Anthony Scaramucci published in 2010. I recommend this book. I bought it because Scaramucci was part of the Trump administration, and I read it after he was fired.
Seven rules for happiness and success:
- “You have to say goodbye.
- You will be disappointed–in others and in yourself; forgive first, analyze quickly.
- Keep your ego in check.
- Be yourself and have fun.
- Rejoice in the success of others.
- Target success.
“As the great philosopher Mel Brooks reminds us, we’re all going to die. It’s trite, perhaps, to say ‘You can’t take it with you.’ but you really can’t. Your greatest legacy is not your wealth, not your trophy case; it is simply the life you lead and the example you set–how you react to life’s difficulties and gracefully share success.”
