Monsters in world history

I define a monster as a man who has caused large-scale human suffering and death. And all the monsters in recorded history have been men. Here is my top ten list ranked in order of the monsters of the world.

Number 1 because of the large population he influenced is Chairman Mao of China.

Number 2 will appear later in this post

Number 3 is a tie between Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin

Number 4 is the Government of Japan before and during WW2.

Number 5 is Richard Nixon/Henry Kissinger

Number 6 is George W. Bush/Dick Cheney

Number 7 is Benito Mussolini

Numbers 8 and 9 are various African dictators

Number 10 is Pol Pot of Cambodia

Number 2 is someone who many people have not heard of, Harry Anslinger, head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics from 1930 to 1962. He initiated the drug war, and if it continues much longer, it will displace Chairman Mao as the leading cause of suffering and death in the world. Sheriff Joe Arpaio worked for Anslinger and was a disciple in the drug war. Sheriff Joe did not make the list of top ten because he had a much smaller sphere of influence in the population of Maricopa County, Arizona. Fortunately after 24 years, the voters of Arizona have finally voted to replace him.

Other small fry who did not make the list include Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, Saddam Hussein, the dictators of North Korea, Osama bin Laden, and Bashar al-Assad.

Many now wonder if Donald Trump will make the list. Since he has access to weapons of mass destruction and can act on the entire world, I fear that the answer may be yes. It is the responsibility of all US citizens to ourselves, our children and the rest of the world, to remove Trump from the Presidency as quickly as possible.
