Social Security part 2

The Republican plan of attack on Social Security retirement benefits is a two-pronged attack. Prong one is to increase the retirement age because people are living longer. Prong two is not discussed. It is to make people live shorter lives, on average, by making healthcare more expensive. Over time, fewer people will live long enough to reach retirement age or draw benefits once they do reach retirement age. At some point, on average, few will live long enough to enjoy the benefits they have spent a working life paying for, and then the GOP will repeal Social Security as not needed.
