The election of Donald Trump has made me as angry as I was following the attacks of 9/11. I was also confused and uncertain about the how and why of Trump’s election. Yesterday brought some understanding. We elected Trump partly because of outside interference in our election by a foreign power, probably Russia. It really does not matter why, but one theory is that Russia needs higher market prices for its exports, oil and natural gas, and Trump and his Secretary of State designate, Rex “Top Dollar” Tillerson, will supply Russia with a better market. The rest of the world can choke on bad air, drink polluted water and learn to swim as the oceans rise.
