An Easter egg is a hidden feature in some computer software. The US Constitution also has a little known Easter egg that the Founding Fathers inserted to prevent the election of a President like Donald Trump. If the Electoral College votes for an unqualified candidate, the current President and all the living former Presidents acting unanimously can veto that candidate. Then the Electoral College must elect another candidate who is acceptable to the President and former Presidents. If the Electoral College fails to elect a suitable candidate, the current occupant of the White House remains in office until they do.
