  1. Only Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman and God know what really happened that night. The rest of us can only guess, speculate and opine. My personal suspicion is that neither of them were completely innocent in that situation. Zimmerman had no business whatsoever following that young man, and Martin should have called the police saying he was being followed instead of engaging in an altercation. Beyond that I cannot venture any opinion at all. I know there are hundreds of thousands of people across the country that are outraged and disappointed by the verdict but they did not sit on the jury, they did not hear the evidence or the testimonies, and the call was not theirs to make. I can only hope that people will learn form this situation and think twice before they turn vigilante and risk human lives for nothing. We have to ask ourselves: What is worth dying for? What is worth killing for? Is there no common sense or self control within us anymore?
