John McCain in 2008 judged Sarah Palin a better candidate for VP than Mitt Romney. Why? Was John McCain so devoid of judgment that he thought Sarah Palin was more qualified for the office or was it that Palin can fire up a crowd while Mitt puts people to sleep. Mitt can always counter that 2012 is not 2008, or that the requirements for the office of president are different from those of the office of vice president. Good luck on that one.
